Forgiveness Coaching

Licensed Psychologist, Keynote Speaker, Best Selling Author, and Leader in Global Conflict Resolution

There are time when people want to forgive but are unsure how to do so. The experience with forgiveness may be so unfamiliar that you may find it hard to walk this path toward emotional healing. How do people make their way to forgiveness if they have never practiced it before?

Forgiveness coaching involves helping people learn how to forgive by taking them through a step by step structured process called the “Borris Dynamics” which Dr. Borris has developed and which anyone can follow.

Forgiveness Coaching is for those of you who want to forgive and need help in going through the steps of the forgiveness process. The coaching process provides a non-stressful environment where we can have a dialogue of what forgiveness is and is not. Once there is a clear understanding of what forgiveness is and an understanding of the dynamics of interpersonal conflict, coaching explores the “how to” of forgiveness.

How is Forgiveness Coaching Different from Therapy?

Forgiveness coaching will focus on the specific issue you would like to deal with in which you want to work on forgiveness. During the coaching session you will learn how to work within a structured step by step process. You will also be able to deal with the emotional content of the situation and be supported in letting go of your emotional burden. You will then be able to use this process in other situations which may arise and in which you want to forgive.

What Can Coaching Do?

After receiving coaching, you will have the necessary skills to deal with painful situations in your life. Your relationships will improve, you will know how to heal emotional wounds, and you will be able to see situations differently giving you greater joy and inner peace. My sessions are tailored to you and your needs.

How can Forgiveness Coaching Help You?

While writing “Finding Forgiveness: A 7 Step Program for Letting go of Anger and Bitterness” I was able to work with many people of very unique and difficult backgrounds in learning how to forgive. As a result of this work, peoples’ lives became more joyful, less stressful, happier, and personal relationships became more loving. People were able to let go of their anger and emotional pain and their lives became richer and more rewarding. So many clients who go through this process experience such a profound transformation, some of whom have a spiritual awakening, that their lives change for the better and what used to bother them no longer exists.
