He Broke Free From Chronic Pain: David Hanscom, MD
In 1990 David Hanscom was a fearless spine surgeon when he started developing migraine headaches, ringing in the ears, skin rashes, burning feet, anxiety, depression and full-blown OCD. He bounced around the medical system for 15 years before finally learning to shift his own body chemistry from sustained threat physiology to a sense of safety and rewiring the brain’s response to pain. One watershed moment was discovering Fred Luskin’s book, Forgive for Good, and since then David has helped hundreds of patients heal from pain, migraines, insomnia, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and many other chronic symptoms—without surgery.
This was a really special conversation for Fred and I, and we hope you enjoy listening as much as we did recording it.
